Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin Well Winter Challenge launched

Shropshire Telford and Wrekin ICS have launched a Well Winter Challenge to encourage residents to stay well and look after themselves this winter. 

The campaign, supported by the NHS, Shropshire Council and Telford & Wrekin Council, challenges the public to film or take a picture of themselves doing something that will help themselves, their loved one or someone in their community, stay well over this winter period. 

This could be going for a walk or run, meeting a friend, making a healthy meal or trying out a new hobby. 

We’re asking the public to share their film or pictures on social media using #WellWinterChallenge and tagging us in using @STWCCG on Twitter and Facebook. Then tag in three friends your nominated to take part in the challenge. 

The challenge comes after an open letter was published last week encouraging the public to play their part in supporting health and care services this winter. 

As part of the launch, several leaders from across the ICS will be sharing their own ways of staying well this winter.
