COVID-19 Vaccination Walk-in and Pop-Up Clinics

Posted in Our priorities

Walk-in vaccinations are available without an appointment across Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin.

The walk-in's are offering COVID vaccines to those who are eligible without booking.

You do not need to be registered with a GP, have proof of address, immigration status, ID or an NHS number. A few personal details may be taken so that we have a record of who has been vaccinated.

PLEASE NOTE:

  • Walk-in and pop-up COVID-19 vaccination clinics may be limited to an allocated number of vaccines. Vaccines will be given on a first come, first served basis. Clinics may close early if all allocated vaccine has been used.
  • Clinics aren’t open to everyone – for instance, some are open just for boosters ONLY, and not 1st, 2nd and 3rd doses – so please read the clinic details carefully before you decide to go.
  • Clinics may be subject to short notice changes. Please do check the times and dates on the day before you travel to the centre.
  • Do not turn up to a walk-in clinic site on a day that is not advertisied.
  • Parents are asked to accompany children aged 12-15 to clinics to ensure parental consent is sought.

***For those patients requiring a second dose of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine***

A small number of people in the county still may require a 2nd dose of the Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine. These people need to contact their GP surgery who will arrange for them to receive their 2nd dose of Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine. Unfortunately, this may mean that the patient may need to travel to another GP surgery/Primary Care Network (but within the county) to receive their vaccine, depending on where the AZ vaccine supply is. Alternatively you can book an appointment via the National Booking System.
